Past event - Derbyshire's first bioblitz event -Markeaton Park, Derby
WildDerby held a 24 hour wildlife recording event on 5-6th June 2010. A programme of activities was organised, including guided walks, lake dipping, bug hunts, dawn chorus and night walks.
The event set a target of 500 species to find and record over the 24 hour event and this was smashed with more than 640 species found including two new species to Derbyshire!
